Last month we had the unbelievable honor of photographing our close friends Trish and Isaac’s wedding – one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever witnessed! These two love birds met three years ago at some crazy family’s annual winter Karaoke night *cough*rachaelsfamily*cough. After an obnoxious amount of texts, Trish realized Rachael would never stop bugging her to come hang out, so Trish reluctantly agreed to join the festivities, but just for a few songs. Rachael had been formulating a plan all night to get her friend Trish, and her brother’s friend Isaac, alone! Once Trish arrived, Rachael gracefully introduced the two strangers “Trish, this is Matt’s single friend Isaac. Isaac, this is my single friend Trish. I gotta go!”, and they’ve been inseparable since. Could it be the magic of one family’s awful singing or just life falling into place?
Occasionally you meet couples who you have no doubt are just meant to be together. Trish and Isaac are that rare couple. Their wedding seriously could not have arrived soon enough. We were beyond eager to join up with Isaac, one of the most laid-back grooms ever, and start photographing their unforgettable day…
Trish’s wedding gift to her future husband – a handsome Tag Heuer watch! Niiiiiccceee!!!!
Trish sent Isaac a sweet note to read before the wedding. We loved getting to see this moment…
Isaac’s brother had him laughing the entire time he got ready. Guess a good sense of humor runs in the family!
So dapper! Like father, like son! ( :
After we photographed Isaac getting ready, we headed to their INCREDIBLE venue, The Lookout Austin, in Austin, Texas. It could not have been more PERFECT!!!!!!!
The bridal room was so cute, but of course our attention was on the pups…oh, and the bride!!!
Writing your own vows for your wedding day is always a wonderful touch!
Trish is so sweet and thoughtful. Even during the middle of her wedding day, she took a break to give her mom a special gift, a hand embroidered handkerchief (which was very useful!). Pretty sure everyone in the room needed one! ( :
I loved watching Trish help her Dad get ready. He looked so handsome and proud, while Trish’s mom was just glowing with happiness watching the two of them prepare!
Then it was time for Trish to get dressed!!!
And she could not have looked more beautiful!!!!!!
Of course Trish and Isaac’s pups approved! ( :
Outside the view and the details were equally as picturesque!
After guests started to arrive, it was time to pin on the boutineers and bawl our eyes out, I mean, watch these two get married!!!!
Isaac had a wonderful air of calmness and happiness about him that was so sweet to photograph!
And then the moment came…… and I feel like Trish took everyone’s breath away….
It was like the happiness they felt was shared by every single guest….
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trish glow so much!
And then….they were married!!!!
And EVERYONE was THRILLED!
After the ceremony we took a few minutes for photos with their friends turned wedding party ( :
And with a view like this, we had to steal them away for just a few solo photos!!!
By this time was sun was low, but the party was just getting started!
After cooling down for a few minutes, they were introduced for the first time as HUSBAND AND WIFE!
And then into their first dances!
Their first dance song is one of the most meaning full songs we’ve ever heard! Pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the house!
Then some awesome dance moves!!!
Christine, Trish’s best friend, gave such a heartfelt speech!!
And Isaac’s brother Rudy was a perfect follow-up!!!
Then it was finally time to cut the cake!!!
By then it was so late and time to leave. Thank you Trish and Isaac for one of the most hilarious series of exit photos. Your sense of humor has always been one of our favorite things about the two of you together! ( :
Trish and Isaac, your day was honestly a dream come true! The two of you together are an inspiration… an inspiration to be honest, to be forgiving, and to be madly in-love with each other. We can’t wait to celebrate each year that passes and each milestone of your love (ahem*babies*ahem).
Thank you for not giving up until true love found you in the end! We love you both!!!!!
