Having know the bride, Katie, since THIRD grade (the actual number of years shall remain uncounted to protect those involved…..yes, we’re getting old!), I can say with total confidence that Katie and Jason’s wedding day couldn’t have been more anxiously anticipated! And old classmate, teammate, and friend was marrying a man who is a perfect match for her! When we arrived at the beautiful The Sanctuary at Water Oak, there was an air of relaxation and celebration as Jason (yes, the GROOM) showed us around the venue. Most organized groom ever!!!
Then onto Katie’s GORGEOUS bridal details!!!
I love that Katie and her mom handmade the bouquets! Talk about talented!
I loved the mixture of laughter and deep breaths as Katie put her dress on! What would we do without waterproof mascara?!
Hello, lovely!
And of course we had to check up on Jason, who was already dressed!! Pretty sure he woke up ready for the whole day! ( :
The weather that day was amazing, it started raining just before the ceremony and stopped right before Katie walked down the isle! Talk about an entrance!
<3 <3 <3
During the ceremony, Katie and Jason had family put special letters in a box for them to read at a later date. It was a really thoughtful way to include everyone on this emotional day!
After the ceremony, there were lots of congratulations, a few photos, and then onto the party!!!!
AH! Those CAKES!!!
I loved all of the young photographers in the making ( ;
From first dances to a grand march, they knew how to get things started!!!
!!!!!!!!
As you can see, Jason and Katie share a wonderful sense of humor! ( :
But somehow the night ended way too quickly and it was suddenly time to say goodnight!
Katie and Jason, we couldn’t be happier for the two of you and the adventurous years you have ahead. From the moment we arrived and got the VIP tour from Jason, we knew your day would be like no other! I’m so happy for you, Friend, and to you, Jason, for finding such a one-of-a-kind partner! Cheers to you both and to the beginning of your new family!!!
