This summer was filled with excitement, like Lindsey and Aaron’s wedding! Surrounded by family and friends, this sweet couple said “I do” with excited smiles and sweet dance moves!
Couldn’t love Linsey’s bouquet more, by the talented Haute Flowers and Finds!
Flawless make-up by Christina Frank and elegant do by Candi Gordan!
Lindsey had a first look with her Dad. It was literally heart melting!
After getting Lindsey ready, we headed over to check in on Aaron!
And then it was time for their first look! Their reactions were unforgettable!
Then it was time to get MARRIED!!!
Hello, Mr and Mrs Mettey!!!!!
When musicians get married, guitar pick wedding favors are a MUST!
After some delicious cake and fancy dance moves, we said goodnight to the newlyweds!
Lindsey and Aaron, thank you for letting us join in on the festivities! As the words go (and as you two have already….)…… Well, I’ll be your shade tree in the summer if you’ll be my fire when it’s cold. And whatever the season, well, we’ll keep on breathing because we have each other to hold……”
Cheers to your life of love!!!!

Before the summer was in full swing, we watched Teresa and Sang say “I do” in downtown Houston!
Their day started at the beautiful Annunciation Catholic Church, with stained glass windows, vintage lights, and tons of space for family and friends to watch!
One of my most favorite moments on a wedding day is watching the groom and the guests react to seeing the bride. Teresa, you were glowing!
And they were married!!!!
After some quick family photos, Teresa and Sang made time in their day for wedding party portraits! And seriously, they could not have turned out more awesome! Not only did their friends bring cold refreshments AND snacks (talk about organized), but they were hilarious AND unfairly photogenic!
Some favorites above and below!
After a few minutes of bride and groom portraits, it was time to celebrate! When we arrived at The Petroleum Club of Houston we were beyond impressed with the beautiful job Event Identity did helping keep the day relaxed and setting up the stunning reception!
Gorgeous floral centerpieces by the talented Prestige Events
Teresa’s sister and Sang’s brother made some seriously unforgettable toasts!
Owl Shots did an awesome job with the photobooth!
Thank you Teresa and Sang for letting us be a part of your special festivities! We couldn’t have imagined a better day for your both! Cheers to the newlyweds!

When you meet the love of your life and spend years waiting for this day, all you need is family, close friends, and one picturesque sunset- life couldn’t be any better!
When we arrived at Branded T Ranch we were blown away by the grand venue, the elegant details, and the excitement beaming from Nathan and Rob’s smiles!
Talk about dapper! Some favorites above and below!
One of my favorite wedding moments ever was watching Nathan and Rob walking down the isle together……..
After some laughs, some tears, and a promise to each other, they were MARRIED!!!!!
And I would say then it was time to start the party, but really, it was time to continue the celebrating!!!! Buds and Bows did a fantastic job setting up the gorgeous details for Nathan and Rob’s day!
After a beautiful first dance, some hilarious toasts, and a few trips to the open bar, the reception concert started! And yes, with a band like Hyperphlyy, its a CONCERT!
And after what felt like the blink of an eye, it was time to wish the newlyweds a good night!!!!
Nathan and Rob, we cannot thank you two enough for allowing us to share in on the laughs and for letting us be a part of the grand celebration of your love! Cheers to your forever!!!

Sometimes the best way to celebrate your new life together is with is in the company of your closest family and friends and and at a place like home (and seriously photogenic)! Dana and Jeremy’s wedding day was literally all sunshine – a glowing bride and carefree groom, and seriously perfect Spring weather!
We loved Dana’s bouquet, the soft succulents mixed with bright pops of beautiful flowers. created by the talented Blythe & Co.
After hanging out with Dana and her ladies, we headed over to get Jeremy dressed for their first look! I always love seeing the Groom’s excited smile when I tell him its time to get ready to see his bride!
One of my favorite things about Dana and Jeremy is how they can be so swet one moment and laughing hysterically the next. Its really is a perfect balance <3
After a first look and some formal photos, it was time to get married!!!! A Splendid Event did a great job taking care of the details and creating a relaxed, yet organized wedding day!
And then they were MARRIED!!!!!
It was so much fun getting to play in the wildflowers AND hang out with the family goat. Really, what more could you want to do on your wedding day?!
Some favorites above and below….
After heartfelt first dances, tear jerking and sincere toasts, and one hilarious cupcake tasting, it was time to party!!!
Obviously these two sisters knew the drill! <3
Dana and Jeremy, thank you both so much for reminding us that a wedding can be a day of gut busting laughter AND seriously heart melting moments. Spending the day watching the two of you begin your new chapter together was unforgettable. On Julia and Patrick’s wedding day, it was hard to believe we hadn’t traveled back in time! Their classic, vintage celebration began with their vows at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church!
I always love getting to see the excitement in bride and groom’s eyes as they walk down the isle to say “I do”!!!
And then they were husband and wife!
Some favorites above and below!!! <3
After an intimate ceremony with family and close friends, it was time to head over to the Historic Heights Firestation!
And as were stepping into the building, and saw all the personal touches Julia and Patrick had made, it felt like we have traveled back in time!!!!

It was so exciting and romantic getting to photograph Whitney and Gene in some of the same locations that they first met, they had their first date, and where they grew inseparable!
And could they have picked a better spot than the Black Labrador?! Yummy drinks and an atmosphere that makes you feel so far away from the middle of our city!
Some favorites above and below!!! <3
After a quick outfit change (Whitney, can we please swap wardrobes?!), we headed to the street where their lives grew closer together and where their everyday, family memories grew!
That afternoon light, Gene’s sweet hugs, and Whitney’s bright smile…. talk about a perfect Sunday!!!
Whitney and Gene, thank you two so much for sharing a part of your history with me! I am beyond excited to toast you both after you say “I do” this summer!
Cheers to the future Mr and Mrs Brieck!!!

Amber and Alex’s gorgeous fall wedding was such a dreamy day! From the moment we arrived at Butler’s Courtyard, we were swept off our feet by the sweet hugs of a sincere wedding party and carried away by the beautiful florals by Haute Flowers,
The talented Courtney Richards did a fabulous job on all the ladies hair and with Hey Lovely on make-up duty, these ladies looked flawless!
After getting Amber ready, we headed next door to check-in on Alex! Prepared with beer socks and a good sense of humor, Alex was ready for the day!
I love that Amber surprised Alex with something extra special – cuff links with a photo of his father, who was Alex’s best man in spirit. Amber’s thoughtfulness added such profound meaning to the day…
<3 Of course Alex’s reaction would be so powerful when we saw his bride for the first time!
After a cool fall sunset, it was time to head inside to celebrate!
The hilarious dachshund ice sculpture and the artistic cake by Cakes by Jula made for the perfect reception centerpieces!
Some favorites above and below. Amber and Alex’s friends and family gave some of the most entertaining and heart touching speeches ever! It was obvious how important this day was to not only the newlyweds, but all of their family and friends too!
These first dances were a mix of tears and laughs….some favorites above and below!
And before we knew it, it was time to say good night to the newlyweds!
Amber and Alex, thank you two so much for allowing us to capture the inextinguishable love that you two share. I cannot begin to tell you how much I admire that you comfort one another when life gets tough, and manage to grow closer when many would fall apart. I loved that your wedding day was an absolute celebration of joy over sadness, and I hope you never stop celebrating your love! Cheers Mr and Mrs Miller!!!!!

Any afternoon I get to spend outside with a sweet couple and lots of sunshine counts as a perfect day to me!
Hanging out with Lindsey and Aaron, sharing impressively terrible dad jokes and listening to their guitars sing along with the breeze at sunset, why can’t every Friday be as dreamy?!
<3 <3 <3
Some favorites above and below!!!
Lindsey and Aaron, thank you two so much for teaching me some prize winning jokes (my kids won’t stop telling them to EVERYONE…and that’s not an exaggeration) and for letting me hear the most beautiful sunset ever! I don’t think I’ve ever been so anxious for July! Cheers to all of the excitement that is waiting for you both this summer!!!!

This wedding, this couple…. its impossible to put into words what a joy it is to work with two people who so vocally appreciate everyone around them, and who so passionately peruse knowing each other’s depths.
So, since word’s cannot express the love we witnessed between Alex and Jon, time to cue the photos! ( :
Really, how romantic is it that Alex and Jon had their wedding at the same location of their first date? <3
And could we love Alex’s gorgeous bouquet any more? The succulents, pretty pinks, and leather wrap was gorgeously put together by Haute Flowers and Finds (wait until you see her head piece!!!)!
Alex’s sweet Mom had our eyes watering too!
After getting Alex ready we headed over to check-in with Jon…. who was of course, looking as sharp as can be!
After some group photos with his guys, it was time for their first look. Hands down one of the deepest and sweetest moments I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing! Really, it takes skill to stay still when you’re crying!!!
Some favorites above and below!!!
After some time to soak up the excitement of their special day, it was onto their ceremony and to getting MARRIED!
There are always moments from weddings we’ll never forget. Below is one of those unforgettable times from Alex and Jon’s day. The way their faces glowed and the sun shined…..
Honestly I couldn’t find a dry face in the crowd!
And they were MARRIED!!!!!!!!! And hi-5 to Jon for the perfect reaction! ( :
See what I mean?! These two thought of everyone, EVEN their guests pets at home!!!!! Also, you may notice some gorgeous quilts…… made by Alex!! When?! I cannot even imagine!
And that CAKE!!!! Of course a stunning work of art by Sweets to Dream On!
And every direction I looked, details that HAD TO BE photographed! The florals, the fun signs, the beautiful mismatched china, sswwwwoooooon!
A tattoo parlor in a wedding reception?! Yes, my heart was happy! And Alex’s mom knows how to rock some rad art on her arm!!! ( :
After tons of hugs and well wishes, some heartfelt tears and crazy dance moves, it was time to say good night to these newlyweds. And what could have made a better spot to say good night than the backdrop of their first date. Alex and Jon, thank you for reminding us that love is deep but can still be fun, that love is absolutely worth every ounce of dedication and work that you put into it, and that love is always worth celebrating. We really could not be happier for your new family!
